‘Turkey after the Referendum’ Common Denominator Report announced
There are three common denominators in the report of the small Provincial Assemblies of Turkey, gathered last month with the general agenda "Turkey after the Referendum." The three topics agreed upon by 105 NGOs are as following:
- Polarizing speech has no benefit for anyone, and we would lose both as a society and as a country.
- Despite the fact that the Higher Electoral Council decision is controversial, the referendum results must be respected.
- According to the results of the referendum, the society has given the necessary answer to both the government in power, and the opposition.
The Common Denominator report has been announced on the 1st of June, Thursday in front of the GNAT Press Meeting Hall by sPAT Parliamentary Responsible Oya Özden, accompanied by People's Democratic Party (HDP) Batman MP Saadet Becerikli.
